Mike Starkie, Non Executive Chairman

Mike Patolot

Mike was formerly the Group Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of BP Plc, a role to which he was appointed in 1994. As Group Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, Mike played a leading role in BP’s mergers and acquisitions. He was responsible for the Group’s financial statements (including US corporate) and for the Group’s US SEC filings (20Fs and 6Ks), compliance with other financial reporting requirements. Mike sits on several intergovernmental and institutional boards acting as professional advisor and chair.

His expertise is used on the CBI Financial Reporting panel of which he is Chairman and also in advising the European Commission on the adoption of International Reporting Standards and Interpretations on the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) and the Technical Expert Group .

Mark LM Quinn, Chief Executive Officer and Co founder

Mark has over 20 years extensive international business experience in the emerging markets. Mark was the founder of Barterone LLC which in 1995 entered into a joint venture with Peco Energy, Philadelphia, USA, to establish one of the first Internet trading platforms for energy and surplus utility parts. The company later merged into Entrade Inc which reached a market cap of $800 million by 1999. Returning to the UK in 2000, He was CEO of D1 Oils Plc and built the company into a global biodiesel brand, with a Market cap of £200 million prior to leaving in 2005.

Mark spent 3 years for researching alternative energy cropsand in November 2008, he founded Clenergen Corporation Limited which completed a reverse merger in November 2009 on the OTC to form Clenergen Corporation

Jessica Hatfield, Executive Director and co founder

Jessica Hatfield

From 1994 to 2004 Jessica Hatfield was Chief Executive of The Media Vehicle, a company she founded that provided advertising alternatives to traditional above the line media. She grew the company from a startup to a major global brand which she subsequently sold a 30% stake in to Clearchannel International. .From 20005 she became Chief Executive Officer and the co-founder of STARO (Save the Amazon Rainforest Organization). In 2008, Jessica was elected to the United Nations Environmental Program Who’s Who in “Women and the Environment,” recognizing her work in the field of Amazon Rainforest conservation.

Jessica is the co founder of Clenergen Corporation, Chairperson of Clenergen Foundation and Environment Director of Clenergen Corporation.

Dr. Arvind Pandalai, Non Executive Director

Dr. Arvind Pandalai has 32 years of experience in international trading, export and import management, market research, counter trade, off-shore trade, joint ventures, project management, financial management and strategic planning. Recognizing the contributions made by Dr. Pandalai to the national and organizational cause, he was awarded 2004 IMM Award for Excellence as a Top Professional by the Institute of Marketing & Management, New Delhi, India. He was also awarded Certificate of Excellence in Productivity, Quality, Innovation & Management by the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, India.

Chris Quinn, Financial Controller

Chris Quinn

Chris had over 25 years of management experience in the hospitality industry and has held the position as General Manager for Marriott hotels (UK) early on in his career, before becoming a Director and co founder of Enhanced Biofuels and Technologies Limited in 2005. Chris was t involved in establishment of Clenergen Limited in 2009 and was instrumental in setting up the company’s subsidiary operations in India. Chris has considerable financial experience as a result of running his own company for 10 years and is additionally the director of a number of other public and private companies.

James Wood, Vice President, Business Development

James Wood

James commenced his career with S G Warburg & Co. in M&A after training in London, Zurich & Hong Kong before working for Swiss Bank Corporation’s private equity arm SBC Equity Partners. He then went onto work for a small family office investing growth companies and dealing with business strategy. He has since worked in management teams growing a diverse plethora of businesses with a number of investors including Columbus Asset Management, JO Hambro Private Equity, Melee Venture Management & Shirlstar Group. James read Law & Economics at Exeter University.
