Beema

Beema is from the Bamboo grass family, a group of woody perennial evergreen (except for certain temperate varieties) plants in the true grass family of Poarceae, subfamily, bambusidcae, tribe bambuseae. Beema bamboo has naturally increased its growth by up to 8 times (Hexaploid), resulting in a density of 5 times greater than any other species of bamboo. It can be cultivated in all types of soil where there is sufficient water availability or where climatic conditions such as in the equatorial regions offer a natural environment for cultivation. Beema bamboo has the potential as an energy crop of yielding in excess of 60 tonnes per acre per annum after the third year and will never require replanting.
